Along the Uralla Road
This is from the roadside on our way home from town one day. We lived about 20 kilometres out of town so it could have been when we were on the way home from school or shopping at Uralla on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia. It is summer and the colours are indicative of high summer in this area. It is quite dry but still the wild flowers were in bloom and profuse. We moved away from this area many years ago but it is still in my heart, although we had a hard time with droughts on the farm with loss of our animals as we didn't have enough water. It was devastating but still one of my favourite places where we have lived.
