In Dark Places, Danger Lurks
All over Australia, we have huge problems with feral animals preying on birds and smaller native animals. The ones who account for most of the deaths of birds are domestic cats gone wild. These cats grow to large proportions and have been responsible for the extinction of many beautiful birds. This is a mixed media painting which points out the danger to our birds that these cats pose.
