In meinen Landschaftsbildern versuche ich immer, einen Moment schönen Lichts oder einen Baum einzufangen, der unter der Rinde sein wahres Gesicht zeigt. Ich habe mich auf Reisen zu europäischen Galerien von den großen Meistern beeinflussen lassen – insbesondere von den Impressionisten. Van Gogh ist mein Favorit auf diesen Ausflügen, wegen der Art, wie er pastose Farbe auftrug, und wegen der Tapferkeit, Grün in Bärten zu verwenden! Die anderen Künstler, die ich bewundere, sind Fred Williams, Lloyd Rees, Clem Millward, Margaret Olley, Ian Fairweather, Ainslie Roberts und Andrew Wyeth.

Paintings that are stretched canvas have the sides painted so can be put on your wall or easel without a frame. It is known as gallery wrap or gallery finish. However, if you would like it to be framed please contact us & let us know & we can discuss with you what you would like. Of course, with framing there will be an additional cost depending on the size & material of the frame.
