This is a painting of a typical sheep & cattle country on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales. The property is north of Walcha & looks over a valley leading to gorge country. The gorges are river erosion areas that are up to 300 metres deep. I had gone to play in a lawn bowls tournament at Walcha. In the distance are the hills that Guyra is perched upon. I remember this day well, as I lost the tournament by one shot!
