Rock Fishing in Moonlight
This is a depiction of those dedicated fishers who go out in all sorts of weather and love throwing a line in on a full moon. The moon is glittering in a trough between the waves, and the cliffs around are shown up in its brilliant light. This is a great time to fish as the moon brings a lot of feeding fish up to the surface, and a good catch can be made. I like this painting a lot, myself, as I think I caught the drama quite well.
