This is a depiction of a frost as the sun starts to burn it off. It was painted on the Moona Plains near Walcha on a property we once owned. We used to get quite heavy frosts, and sometimes a bit of snow for a week or two. The grass has been burnt off by the frost, and the only green pick for this young kangaroo is at the base of trees.
