Sunset Over Manning River
The Manning River is where I grew up as a child. We had free–rein as children and would go swimming, fishing for mullet, and running the rapids with our home-made canoes. This painting is revisiting that time in paint! The sunset is an allusion of that time coming to an end, the same as my time will also come to an end.
